Certifications & Quality Standards
Independent testing and documented compliance so your purchasing team can approve with confidence.
Our Current Certifications
EN71-3
HEAVY METAL SAFETY STANDARD
European standard testing PVC materials for heavy metal migration (lead, cadmium, chromium). Ensures safe material composition for workers and end-users.
Note: EN71-3 is a material safety standard, not a fire rating.
SGS Tested
THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION
Independent testing by SGS (world’s leading inspection company) covering material composition, tensile strength, tear resistance, chemical safety, and batch consistency.
Japan Fire Retardant
FIRE SAFETY CERTIFICATION
Verifies PVC material meets fire retardant standards — critical for welding enclosures, paint booths, and facilities near flammable materials.
DIN 4102 B1
FLAME RETARDANT (SCHWER ENTFLAMMBAR)
German fire protection classification for materials that are difficult to ignite and self-extinguish when the ignition source is removed. Required for industrial curtains in facilities with strict fire safety codes across Europe.
DIN 4102 B2
NORMAL FLAMMABILITY (NORMAL ENTFLAMMBAR)
Standard fire classification for PVC materials that do not significantly contribute to fire spread. Suitable for warehouse dividers, wash bay curtains, and general industrial partitioning applications.
Quality Assurance Process

1. Raw Material Inspection
Every batch of PVC resin and additives undergoes incoming inspection. We verify supplier certifications and test material properties before manufacturing.

2. In-House Testing Lab
Our Jiangxi facility measures thickness, tensile strength, tear resistance, color consistency, and dimension accuracy.

3. Finished Product Testing
Before shipment, panels are sampled and tested to verify specs match the order. Full documentation and batch traceability included.
US Market — NFPA 701 & ASTM E84
SKP Material is actively pursuing NFPA 701 and ASTM E84 fire retardant certifications for the US market. We currently have fire-retardant PVC formulations with test reports available upon request.
Request Certification Documents
Facility managers, engineers, and procurement professionals can request at no cost: EN71-3 test reports, SGS certificates, DIN 4102 B1/B2 fire classification reports, fire retardant documentation, MSDS sheets, and batch-specific quality reports.
