What mesh banner material is
Mesh banner material is a PVC-coated banner substrate manufactured with an open, perforated structure rather than a solid face. Air passes through the apertures instead of pushing against the surface, so the finished graphic carries a far lower wind load than the equivalent solid banner. That single property is why mesh is specified for building wraps, fence scrims, scaffold advertising and any elevated or long-span installation where the fixing points, not the print, are the limiting factor.
The trade-off is coverage. An open structure means some light and background passes through, so mesh is chosen where wind behaviour matters more than absolute opacity.
SKP manufactures mesh banner material and holds it as unprinted stock. We supply it as material, and we also produce finished printed pieces from the same stock.
Standard grades
Two grades cover most mesh banner work. Each is matched to a print configuration rather than sold as a bare weight, because the coating and the number of printable faces are what actually determine which one belongs on a job.
| Spesifikasi | 220 gsm grade | 320 gsm grade |
|---|---|---|
| Berat material | 220 gsm | 320 gsm |
| Printable faces | Single-sided | Double-sided |
| Print systems | Solvent or UV | UV |
| Width and length | Made to order | Made to order |
| Stock position | Unprinted stock held | Unprinted stock held |
| Fire-retardant grade | Available on request | Available on request |

Openness is matched to the installation. Tell us the site conditions and the print method and we will confirm the grade against them before quoting.
Printing compatibility
Solvent printing
The 220 gsm grade prints single-sided, on solvent or UV.
pencetakan UV
Both grades run on UV. The 320 gsm grade is the double-sided specification.
Single or double-sided
Choose 220 gsm where one face carries the graphic. Choose 320 gsm where the installation is seen from both sides.
Mesh banner material compared with solid vinyl banner
Specify mesh when
- The banner is elevated, spans a facade, or is fixed to scaffold or fence
- Wind load on the fixings is the design constraint
- The installation stays up through changeable weather
- Local rules or the structure limit the load a graphic may impose
Specify solid vinyl when
- Full opacity and maximum colour density are the priority
- The banner is sheltered, indoors, or close to the viewer
- Fine detail and small type have to stay legible
- Nothing behind the graphic should show through
Where mesh banner material is specified
Building wraps
Large-format facade graphics on occupied or under-construction buildings, where the wrap has to shed wind rather than catch it.
Fence scrims
Perimeter graphics on construction hoarding and temporary fence lines, printed to full runs and fixed along the fence structure.
Scaffold advertising
Long-span graphics carried on scaffold, where the fixing structure sets the limit on the load the print may add.
Events and stadium
Barrier, gantry and perimeter graphics on open sites where installations are exposed and turned around quickly.

Fire-retardant option
A fire-retardant grade of mesh banner material is available on request. Event, construction and public-venue work frequently carries a fire-performance requirement, and the specification varies by venue, by authority and by country.
Tell us which requirement the job has to satisfy and we will confirm what we can supply against it before you commit. We do not publish a blanket compliance claim, because the correct answer depends on the standard being asked for.
Wholesale and OEM roll supply
SKP is the manufacturer — Jiangxi Shinysky Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. Widths and lengths are made to order rather than cut from a fixed catalogue.
Unprinted stock is held in both standard grades. Minimums on custom work are low and small runs are accepted.

Own-brand and OEM
Material supplied to your specification for resale or conversion, with the roll format set to suit your production rather than ours.
Common questions
Which grade should I order for a double-sided installation?
The 320 gsm grade. It is the double-sided specification and runs on UV.
Can I print mesh banner material on a solvent printer?
Yes. The 220 gsm grade prints on solvent or UV. The 320 gsm double-sided grade is specified for UV.
Do you supply widths outside your standard range?
Widths and lengths are made to order. Send the finished size you need and we will confirm what we can produce for the run.
Is a fire-retardant version available?
Yes, on request. Tell us which fire-performance requirement the installation has to meet and we will confirm what we can supply against that specific requirement.
Do you supply material only, or printed banners as well?
Both. This page covers unprinted mesh banner material supplied by the roll. We also produce finished printed pieces, including eyelet installation, sewing and hemming — ask us directly if that is what you need.
Do you accept small orders?
Yes. Minimums on custom work are low and small runs are accepted, so you can qualify a specification before scaling up.
